Since 1973, Cape Fear Orthopedics has been dedicated to improving our patients’ quality of life. To that end, our expert team of orthopedic surgeons provides specialized care and broad experience in the areas of sports medicine, total joint replacement, pediatric orthopedics, hand surgery, arthroscopic surgery, and general orthopedics.

Workers’ Compensation

Treatment for injuries due to a work accident must be authorized by your employers’ workers’ compensation carrier. We will need contact information for the claims adjuster and case manager in order to file claims and update your work status. Should your case become a legal issue and you retain an attorney, please be sure that we have the attorney contact information and signed releases from you in order to communicate with them.

Third Party Liability

Because our clinic cannot wait for third party liability claims to be settled, we do not accept third party liability. Payment for services resulting from automobile accidents or other accidents is the responsibility of the patient and is expected at the time of service.
