Cape Fear Orthopedics is committed to security of our patient’s personal and health information. Your private information including credit card number, address, name, etc. is encrypted using industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software so that it cannot be read over the internet. The information is then stored on a secured server.

How will I know if my information is secure?

A little closed padlock or unbroken key will appear on the bottom of your browser’s window when you access a secure page.

The “http” at the beginning of the URL will change to “https” when you access secure pages.
